I've been blogging two months and there are so many things about it that I love. One of the biggest things I love is hearing that my tutorials have been of use to someone, and even more than that I LOVE seeing your photos of the things that you've made.
Ok people, prepare yourself for the cuteness that is going to follow. Some of you may have missed THIS tutorial as it was only two weeks into my blog. The One Hour Sundress. Created in my mind, daydreaming about summer, as I watched my girls skate at the outdoor rink. In case you missed it here is my little girl in her dress. Her dress that will most likely hang in her closet for another two months!
When I posted that tutorial I hoped that some of you would make the dress too, and that you would not only make the dress but share the pictures with me! Some of you did, and what I was not prepared for was just how adorably cute they all were!! I'm excited to share them with you!
How cute are Stefanie's little girls in their coordinating dresses? Don't you just love her older daughter's sense of style paired with the black and white leggings? And look at her little daughter's dress...so cute with the straight band at the bottom instead of the ruffle. I love these dresses! Stephanie also has an Etsy shop. Check out her shop The Straight Stitch.
This is Jessica's sweet baby girl in her Easter dress. How adorable is she? I love the polka dots. I have a thing for polka dots.
Jenny sent me this photo of her daughter. She sent me this in February and I was so envious they had nice outside weather already! Again a polka dot coordinating print! Polka dots are classic I tell you! Ok, they might be ladybugs, but ladybugs are classic too!
This photo came from Ruth of her little girl. Isn't she precious? I love the little bow she added at the bottom. Super cute, I think I will do that to the next one I make! Ruth also is a co author of a craft and sewing blog called Scraps N Strings. Go and have a look, she has a link there also for her Etsy shop.
This photo was sent to me from Shauna. She lives somewhere on Vancouver Island where I'm from. Her email made me miss home. Look at her sweet daughter in her lavender dress. That is my daughter's favorite color.
This dress was made by Shannon, the author of Luv in The Mommyhood. She featured my tutorial back in February which was really really nice of her. She has a really awesome blog that I love to read. LOVE her fabric choices.
Last, but certainly not least, is the dress Kristyn made for her daughter. I love the red and white and the flower is such a nice touch! Adorable! Kristyn also has an Etsy shop, HollieKs, and there are some adorable things in it.
Keep the pictures coming, I absolutely love seeing them!
I have a tutorial up for a matching Barbie dress. You can see it HERE
Thank you for sending me your pictures ladies! I hope you all have enjoyed seeing them too! :)
