I bought the pattern from Inner Hooker if you'd like to make your own. The pattern was well written and easy to follow. She also has many other sweet patterns.
Now, my husband thinks our 4 and 6yr old girls could still get away with wearing a hat like this but says our 2yr old little dude is too old. What kind of double standard is that? I think this would be perfectly appropriate for Little Dude come fall, what do you think?

this is super cute! if the little boy likes it, i say let him wear it..it's not girly unless you add the bow or crochet it in soft colors.

ReplyDeleteI have that pattern from Inner Hooker, too! I bought and made it for my son who will be two in August this year! The only problem with it is he won't keep it on. He looks adorable in it! Great job on yours. :)

ReplyDeleteIt's supercute, Christine!! And I don't see why a 2 year old should be deprived of wearing it! Though I well remember the days when my mom made me wear a bunny costume with giant bunny ears, for carnival... I must have been 3 or 4. I HATED it, and all the older kids and grown-ups laughed at me... looking back at the pictures still feels humiliating. Okay, maybe I should stop now... ;)
