Ok, first off, pretend my blog isn't cutting off part of my photo. I'm not sure how to fix that!
Do you need a last minute gift for Father's Day? Give this super sweet gift from the kiddos! Easy and fast (as long as your kids cooperate). I wanted to get this up to show you as soon as possible, and in our case, I think we will be doing a redo at some point tomorrow. Dad came home in the middle of our photo shoot.
Your photos don't need to be perfect though, your subjects are perfect enough and Dad will think any photo is adorable!
So, here is what we did...
Cut the letter "D" and letter "A" from poster paper. Sit down each kid with a letter and take their photo! We have done this in the past spelling "GRANDPA". If you have one child you can take their photo holding each of the letters. The different expressions they make would be super cute! Or, if you have lots of children you can spell out an entire phrase.
Like the Duggars, they could spell out "DAD YOU'RE AWESOME!!!"
The more kids you have, the better!
We are going to put our photos in a little 3 picture photo frame, but you could just make a collage using photo editing software and put them in one frame.
Have fun! I would love to see what you come up with. :)

I currently have 3 kids, so I may have to do this. :). Really cute!!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute! I'm going to try this next year when my little guys are a little older. Thanks for the great idea!
ReplyDeleteYour Duggar comment gave me a good giggle!
ReplyDeleteI only have one daughter and a huge belly (lol the belly can't hold much! ahah) but I might try this with my lady. We'd need to spell PAPA (we're French) but its a really good idea I've seen around and wanted to try :) thanks for the reminder!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautifull pictures and idea, you have such lovely children.
ReplyDeleteMy son finger painted a picture frame and I put a photo of him in it.
A really cute and beautiful Idea.Any Dad would love to keep this on his desk.
ReplyDeleteI expanded on your idea a bit - thanks for the inspiration!!!!
