Newborn "One Size Fit Many" PJ Pants!

Shannon, at Luvinthemommyhood is having a Baby Bonanza! You see, she just had a new baby! A very sweet adorable baby girl (you have to click over and check out her photos)! The past several weeks she has had guest bloggers share baby related tutorials twice a week. There have been so many wonderful tutorials posted, if you have a new baby or know people with new babies you don't want to miss them!

Shannon invited me over today to talk a little bit about motherhood and to share a project. I agonized over what kind of tutorial to post. You see my original tutorial, the one I was going to share, was a huge failure (maybe one day I will finally figure it out and be able to share it with all of you) :).

So, I started thinking about all of the things I want to make my new nephew (he will be born in October), and it hit me! Newborn "One Size Fits Many" PJ pants! Of course, these ones won't fit many, just newborns, but how cute would they be?

So, I scaled down the pattern and made a pair for my soon to be newphew to match Little Dude.

They are teeny tiny and I think they will best fit 1-2 mos.

Click HERE to download the pattern pieces.

Now, go over to the original "One Size Fits Most" PJ Pants post for the full tutorial (the newborn size assembles exactly the same way). The only difference is for the cuffs you will need to cut a 3inch by 3 inch piece for each one. If you missed the original post you can read more about them there, as well as find the link to download the pieces for the "One Size Fits Many" version. Perfect for all of your appliques. As some readers mentioned, they would be super cute to make birthday PJ's, or Christmas PJ's....Halloween will be here soon! I really think these would be adorable with ruffles! Speaking of Halloween I need to find some orange/black striped knit for this very project! Aren't stripes awesome?!

I hope you'll enjoy these teeny tiny pants. I'm looking forward to seeing some posted to our Flickr group. Please post em if you make em!

Don't forget to check out Luvinthemommyhoods Baby Bonanza, you'll love it!

Also, if you haven't entered the Baby Giveaway sponsored by Tonya's Temptations, don't miss out on your chance to win!
