I said I would post some action shots of the One Size Fits Many PJ Pants. Well, this post is very misleading because these photos would be the opposite of action shots. Little Dude has been under the weather, and not his usual self at all.
When our girls were this age I celebrated them getting older, yet watching this little peanut grow up is heartbreaking. Is it always like that with the baby of the family? Mothers should be able to freeze time whenever they want and hold their babies for just a little bit longer. *sniff*
I am doing my best to brainwash him and keep him my sweet pea forever. We have this conversation quite often...
Me: What do you like better, chocolate chip cookies or pretty girls?
Little Dude: Cookies!
Me: Ok, so when you are 16, what would you rather do... go on a date with a pretty girl or bake cookies with mommy?
Little Dude: Cookies!!
Hubby walking in: Noooooo!!!! How many times do I have to tell you that is not the right answer!
I cover Little Dude's ears
The end.
Someone remind him of this when he is 16....
I know, I probably should seek help.
Back to the topic at hand, these aren't action shots, but show these jammies are cozy to sleep in. And, that's what's important, right? :)

He looks so cozy indeed. And I know the feeling of wanting to freeze time. It's such a double feeling.Sometimes it seems like this is the best it can ever be, but yet, at the same time, I so much enjoy them growing, learning, becoming more and more the person they want to be. It's such an honour and joy to be a part of that process, don't you think? Anyway, looking at that cute little boy sleep I only want to get my baby out of bed and cuddle him for a long time, making him promise he'll be just like he is now for the rest of his life ;-)
ReplyDeletehihi your little dude is so dran cute what a pretty boy... Boys always love baking cookies with there mother (yes i'm dreaming it...)
ReplyDeleteI never understood why the baby of the family is always treated the way they are until I had my last one. You just want to keep them a baby as long as possible. If my husband hadn't converted the crib to a toddler bed, my 2 1/2 year old would still be in the crib, because I was in no hurry to change it =)
ReplyDeleteVery cute pj's. So funny what your hubby walked in and said. I agree, we should be able to freeze time when we want to!
ReplyDeleteI love those pjs!! I keep trying to explain to people how I feel like my "baby" is supposed to stay little forever but they don't get it so I'm glad to see someone feels the same way!! The funny thing though is a feel like we still have one more waiting to come down...yet I still feel like my baby needs to stop growing up!!! Life goes by too quickly!
ReplyDeleteThese PJs are just adorable! Love the tutorial as well. Do you have any good places to buy fun knits at?
ReplyDeleteYes, we should be able to freeze time when we want! My baby will be turning 1 next week, I can't believe how the time flies! It's so hard when you know this one is your last. Very cute pjs by the way...off to read your tutorial! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHe looks so sweet! You might want to pull this picture out and remind yourself of how sweet he was (and hopefully is) when he is 16.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweetheart!! I love pictures of sleeping babies! I just found your blog today, and I can't wait to make all these little dresses for my daughter! And, I'm with you on not wanting your baby to grow up. I loved doing birthdays and milestones with my daughter, and they are so bittersweet with my baby boy. I want him to stay little forever!!
ReplyDeleteI don't even know you and I just found your blog via Ucreate but I have to comment on how darling your little boy is! What a sweetheart, is it just because he's sleeping?! Jk, I know it's not. Those eyelashes and pudgy little lips are to die for. I am a mommy of two girls and I guess I need a little boy around the house. Also, thank you for the cute pj pattern, for sure going to try it!
