Etsy Finds Saturday?

Now I know Etsy Finds is late, but we went away for the weekend. Some much needed fun family time away, but we're home now and the kids are snuggled up watching a movie so I have some time to share what I did come across this week! :) Remember, something for everyone in the family and nothing over $50. This week things are a little different. Because this week was all about sewing, everything I'm going to show you will be fantastic for those sewing projects. That, and there is nothing for Dad this week. Unless Dad likes sewing. Sorry Dad.

For Mom...

 Ok, well, I know this isn't very grown up fabric, but ever since one of my readers posted a link to their blog with a top made out of this fabric I've wanted it! Every time I buy fabric, even though it is to make something for the kids, I consider it splurging money on myself. This fabric is definitely a little splurge! You can find it at Lucky Kaeru Fabric for $7.50 per half yard. A little spendy but it is Japanese and Japanese fabrics are always a little spendy. Always SO cute though! I can picture so many ways I would use this fabric for one of my girls! One of you should get it and then share a picture with me of whatever you make! :)

For the little guy....

 Check our these animal outline patterns from Beckarahn. For $6.00 you can pick a pair of patterns. Lots of times when I am doing simple knit appliques I google images and try to find something simple I can use. These, however are perfect! Great for girls too but I can see using the dinosaurs specifically for my little dude. These would be great for the sew-a-long coming up!

For our princesses...

Tell me these little cupcake felt appliques aren't totally adorable?! You can find them at Namaras Shop for $2.40 for the set of three. Namara's Shop is full of adorable felt appliques. You have to go look because there are tons of really cute ones for both boys and girls. These would be great for embellishing, making a pin to add to an outfit, even attaching to clips to make adorable hair pretties. Cute, right?
