Dolly Outfitters Pattern Review and Sale!

I have such a fun shop to share with you all today! Dolly Outfitters is a cute and unique shop that specializes in clothing and accessories for those popular 15 and 18 inch dolls. Lori, of Dolly Outfitters, is so creative when it comes to making unique items of clothing for that special dolly. She also carries a wide selection of patterns as well as some things for mom too!

Lori has recently created a PDF pattern for her popular doll carrier, and she sent me a copy to review.

I'm going to be sewing one up this week and will share the photos with all of you once I do. I'm actually going to sew up two. The first will be a Christmas gift for my 5yr old princess filled with doll clothes, and the second in boyish prints for little dude for his stuffed animals. That is one of the great things about this pattern. It doesn't just fit one type of doll, it will easily fit a wide range of dolls and stuffies. the doll carrier part of the pack is easy for a little one to navigate. No buckles or clips. What this means is that they won't be asking you to help them get their doll or teddy in and out every 5 mins! :) They'll be able to do it themselves!

Lori's doll carrier pattern is really easy to understand. Full of simple instructions with step by step photos. It may be hard to tell from the photo above, but her doll carrier is an actual adjustable backpack with the doll carrier on the back. Including, zipper!

Let me tell you this too, if you are new to sewing and scared of zippers, this is the perfect pattern to try. Lori's instructions are simple and easy and I'm certain you will have no problems with the zipper!

And, not only is this pattern easy to understand and include all of the hand holding required to make this adorable doll carrier...

But it includes the pattern to make a smaller doll carrier for the littlest people in your life. This would have been perfect for my little girls when they were toddlers and carried their babies around non stop!

The pattern also has a third option to add a zippered pocket to the back instead of the doll carrier. Perfect for when your child is older, this would be a great sleepover bag! I love patterns that I can use for a long time, and this is one of them!

Now, Lori is here today to also offer a sale just to From An Igloo readers!

Enter IglooPattern at checkout and receive $2 off the purchase price of this pattern!

I'm certain many of my daughter's friends will be receiving carriers like this for their birthdays this year! :)

I hope you'll head on over and check out Dolly Outfitters. If you don't have the time to sew Lori has several carriers in stock!
Stay tuned later this week to see photos of my carrier...

(I've had a 103 fever all weekend and all that accompanies that. I'm hopefully on the mend and will have my sewing machine fired up for this project in the next couple of days :) I can tell you that the instructions are very thorough and easy to understand. Perfect even for those beginners out there!)
