Well, that's what I've been thinking for 5 days. Tomorrow is the day though. I feel like I'm going to break my collar bone from all the coughing. It's not pretty, and I'm not pretty. I brushed out my hair today for I think the 2nd time in 6 days.
I've spent a lot of hours sleeping, and way too many hours googling random things on the internet (anybody need to know rent prices in Dubai?). I haven't had the energy to do anything else. This doesn't ever happen to me. I think it must be a build up of not having slept through the night in 6 1/2 yrs, too many non existent meals having lots on the go, and cumulative life stress, because this one has been a doozy.
And, you know how Mom's don't get sick days? I've actually had sick days and luckily a great husband who has been taking care of me, and the kids, most of the time.
Through it all though, this is who has been my side the entire time.
He is my ultimate sidekick. He has brought his trains and trucks into bed so I have something to play with, brought me glasses of water, and even shared his goldfish.
He has also made me go to the Gymboree website no less than 100 times so he can sing the Christmas song that is on their homepage right now.
Yesterday we laid together on the bed. Face to face in a rare moment of quiet for him and he said:
"Mama, do you know what? I think our eyes are in love."
Melt. How can an almost three year old be so adorable? Do boys just know how to melt their mama's hearts? How does he even know the term "in love"?
Speaking of eyes...
Little Dude has really long pretty eyelashes.
I look at him sleeping tonight and feel horrible. He is now coughing like a seal too and he just got over something not too long ago.
Tis' the season.
Just want you to know I am still here, just not as energetic.
I'll be back to sewing and stuff like that soon.

ReplyDeleteGo quick to the doctor. I had the same this year. I thought my bone broke from all the coughing. I just was able to cough while my arm was up my head. It has been terrible 2 weeks. Whne I went to the clinic, they made me get X and checked out everything.
ReplyDeleteTurned out, I had bad and hard Bronchitis (dont know the english word for it).
Get better soon and please go to the doc.
Hugs,
Svenja
