We have a tummy bug going around in our house at the moment, so the post I was going to have for you today will have to wait.
I've been thinking though, I think it's time for another sew-a-long. What do you think?
Problem is that there are so many patterns that I want to make, I can't decide.
Is there a pattern you've wanted to make but are too intimidated, or you'd just like some company?
Post the patterns on your list and I'll try to choose a few for a final vote! :)
I love it when I have buddies to sew with!

You want any pattern Idea from any shop?
ReplyDeleteYep!
ReplyDeleteI hope you guys will feel better soon. It sure is not fun to be sick.
ReplyDeleteHow about something by Modkid? The Emma, Frida, and Penny all come in sizes 2T-10. http://modkidboutique.com/patterns.html
ReplyDeleteI also just bought this pattern https://www.youcanmakethis.com/info/featured-products/the-wrap-top-dress-sizes-1yr-10.htm by Patchwork Kids. It comes in sizes 1 -10 I would love to try it soon.
Cloth boots for baby/toddler! or a full skirted 1950s dress for us mommies!
ReplyDeleteSew-A-Long sounds like a great idea. I'll might be able to come up with something. :)
ReplyDeleteSomething for Mom(us) like a spring top would be fun.
ReplyDeleteSomething for Moms sounds good. Or something for the little boys in our lives.
ReplyDeleteI want to learn how to make a collar, like for a dress shirt or suit coat.
ReplyDeleteI'm up for it too. Something for spring or summer for moms is my vote.
ReplyDeleteI bought the Beach Bum Hoodie & Board Shorts set from Patterns by Figgy's but just haven't been able to get myself to dive in. I sew all the time for my daughter, and my son is always left out. Would love to tackle this one.
ReplyDeleteAnything! But something for Mom would be great. I need a jumpstart ;)

I'd love a sew along! Something that has sizes for bigger kids too... maybe something that will help all of us who have way too much fabric (a little stash busting)
ReplyDeleteI'm with beth! Something for the BOY! I'm expecting a little boy soon, and would love for him to show off his homemade too! Not just his big sister! Love the dress shirt or suit coat, but I don't know?... Too hard?... Anywhoo, something boy!
ReplyDeleteI have all of my materials ready and waiting for a wet bag... just need the instructions...
ReplyDeleteBOY SEWING!!

Something beachy would be fun!
ReplyDeleteHey :-)
ReplyDeleteI'd love to take part in a sew-a-long, it sounds like so much fun!
Personally, I am more or less "ready" to tackle a kind of "pants" but with a flap on the chest and then two straps that go from the lower back over the shoulders to the flap. No idea what the English word for it is, argh! LOL! It's not a jumpsuit, though. Ottobre magazine has some really nice patterns for this.

I think it's great for both boys and girls - I have the loveliest antsy fabric for this for my toddler daughter, but I also envision one in jeans with some dino applique for my second son.
It is a bit daunting, though, because there are quite a bit of pattern pieces.
But I am curious to any suggestion you come up with!

Heres a Misses spring top that seems to look good on alot of different shapes and sizes. I actually like it w and w/o the sleeves. Its simplicity 3887.

Sabine, der englische Begriff wäre "overalls" :-)

Oh, and I'm for a mommy project too.
ReplyDeleteSomething for us moms would be awesome! I never make anything for me :( Maybe we could try one of the dan.a patterns. They look fun and not too time consuming.
ReplyDeleteI've just found your blog after searching for sew-a-longs :) A top for mums would be my top choice.
ReplyDeleteIf you choose a top for us mummas... then I am so in!!
